TRADITIONAL SAIL

On Monday 17th 2003: 15 trainees supervised by 4 people met each other to create  an ambitious project !

All began by the development of the shipyard and the making of a chest in order to store tools. Everyone found habits of marine carpenters who created sail boat and rowing: the Bantry skiff refering to the Irish harbour where it drew along side in 1796.

Beyond building a faithful replica of this boat which represents a learning f an age-oldknow-how, the launch of the skiff means the beginning of a new adventure: carry high colours of the region and the department.
