TRIP TO THE COUNTRY SIDE

The aim of these trips is the discovery and the practice of various outdoor activities: canoe kayak, cycle touring, climbing, sailing... and making children sensible to environment.

 Few examples of

sujects studied  by schools :

• Fauna and flora of Léry-Poses lakes (sailing, kayaking, mountain bike…),

• Reconstitution of a trophic network (fishing, ornithology, herbarium…),

• Formation of the landscape: Seine valley, chalky hill evolution of meanders.(speleology, climbing, mountain bike…),

• The human activity : sand quarries from the exploitation to the rehabilitation, river navigation (visit of the museum "musée de la batellerie", dam, locks, towpaths…),

• Observation of the environment through outdoors activities. (sailing, kayaking, mountain bike…)

All along the week, different environments are observed. Children take an active part in the acquisition of knowledge by observing the bird sanctuary with binoculars, by fishing of invertebrates, by the reconstitution of a trofic network , … Evaluations in the form of games

These themes are just examples. There can be other themes during the stay.

Each stay can be prepared with the teacher

according to their educational choices.
